60 days of being me…
30th of September 2026
Day three -Exploration
8/10 vitality score upon waking.
I made a strong commitment to tuning into what happens when I solely listen to the intuition I FEEL in my body again.
Not only did I engage in my typical routine of meditation, tea and yoga (yes, I did it), this morning, but I had capacity for revising past work, studying and creating something exciting that I will be sharing soon. It made me feel a sense of revitalisation.
Throughout the day I contemplated the emerging theme of metacognition (thinking about thinking) from yesterday. Metacognition refers to our ability to percieve, bring awareness and attention to what we know, think, say and the actions we take, which can help us to monitor, regulate and adapt when we need to (or want to). I used this to evaluate a few things this morning, which led me to;
◆ Recording how I felt this morning and have been feeling over the past few months
◆ Identifying clear patterns that had kept pulling me back (to what seems as the bottom of a tall majestic mountain)
And as I did, a knowing that right now is for stillness and sitting with uncertainty (the next 60 days at least) filled my entire being with a gratitude for all of the challenges that have developed my own levels of resilience and ability toehold light and dark through discomfort.
As such, I followed the next little nudge. What felt right for me (for now), not what other people had advised to do. I placed full trust in me, changing my website to include this challenge and pilot workshop, only. Why? After running a business from word of mouth previously, I know that client’s will find me on their own if it is aligned.
Excitedly, I pressed delete, I leaned in to hear the next whisper. Astrology. Surely not….I resisted, and instead, started moving through the tasks I mentioned above, but I began to feel drained - vitality 3/10. I noticed that as the day progressed, I felt the pull towards astrology strengthen until it became something that I could not ignore. So, I took a breath and asked for a clear sign (no ambiguity) to confirm whether astrology was truly the thread I should follow.
Next, I googled general information on astrology. Then it appeared as clear as day (I honestly gasped, despite serendipity being a constant theme in my life), the first Substack post I opened was written by someone with a name I could not ignore. A FIRST and LAST name of someone in my family (not sharing for privacy). I chuckled as I stared in awe and wonder. No way, my husbands eyes even raised.
It’s funny, I feel as though my life has journeyed alongside astrology. I cannot remember when my initial interest peaked, it has just always been there, anything esoteric, mystical or magical I suppose. To me, it is ridiculously interesting, the rich history, the archetypes, the complexity. Though I also hold a contemporary belief in science and research, which has often felt like a push and pull and naturally question EVERYTHING. A benefit I feel, as it has given me what I view as a balanced perspective of these ancient wisdom teachings with astrology providing a map, a blueprint for confirmation and guidance, against a true understanding that free will has a part to play and that I am ultimately in charge of the choices I make with or without this map.
So I guess that now is my time to step completely out of the starlit closet. In this moment I am choosing to trust the pull, to sit in wonder of my chart, of me, my experiences, what I am, who I am. Of being. I choose to explore and it seems my vitality is right back up to 9/10.
And so, I must stop her as I begin an even deeper dive into the vast wilderness of the sky…
Something for now…
◆ What experiences have you had that were otherworldly, esoteric or Widom based?
Be curious: What drew you to them?
Something for the next few days…
◆ Reflect on the stories, phrases or words that you recorded.
Be curious: What patterns do I notice?
Something from yesterday…
◆Reflect on the barriers that exist to experimentation/implementation/resumption of the strategies, tools, activities you found, or thought could help you follow your inner voice?
Be curious: What resources do I have or have access to that would assist experimentation/implementation/resumption?
With warmth and resonance,
Tara
